Description
The El Filet II is your performance fish. Taking the best characteristics and features of a retro fish and combining them with some of the characteristics of a high performance surfboard.
It has a relaxed but modern rocker, which gives a balance of speed and drive with agility in the pocket.
A really refined rail and refined foil in the nose and tail, gives the El Filet II that great feel under arm, but most importantly a really positive sensitive feeling when on rail.
We feel the most exciting feature is the bottom contours. Sitting within a concave is a vee that rises up to create a spine between your feet. This, combined with a deep double concave, means you’ve got smooth rail to rail transitions and plenty of drive through turns.
It’s as comfortable in weak, mushy surf as it is on a pumping reef break.
Combine it with a high area twin fin for more performance and release in your turns or a modern style keel for that extra hold and drive.
