Reasons why we collect your personal data:
When you place an order with us, we will need to collect your personal data like name, address, telephone number, and bank details because without that we won't be able to deliver a service to you and speak to you about it or take payment. So when you do contact us and complete for an order, you are in agreement with the fact that we are holding your personal information.
When you contact us with any queries, complaints, or refunds we will hold your personal information to process the query, complaint or refund.
When you fill out any form on this website, you agree with us holding your personal data.
When you comment, like, or follow our social media and blog posts, you are in agreement with our holding of your personal information.
Personal Data we collect:
Your name, billing address, delivery address, telephone number, email address, order numbers, receipt numbers, board serial numbers for when you complete an order with us.
Details of your conversations with us, online, via our social media, email, or over the telephone. We collect this for any changes we may make if you make any suggestions, and we hold this information just in case you need to contact us regarding a previous order you made.
Any comments you make on our posts or any reviews you make.
Your payment card information. We do not hold this information in full in any way but when we are processing your payments, we will require this information for that moment.
Information about your computer, laptop, tablet and phone. When you browse our website, your IP address, device type and information about your location (should you choose to share that information), and how you use our website is given to us. We use this to improve our website and set previously requested browsing preferences.
How long we keep your personal data:
We only keep this information for 7 years, which is legally required. We keep this information locked and not open to any to access unless you request this information.

Our Terms & Conditions
The surfboards we make at Paradise Surfboards are all hand-finished and the suppliers we work with using computer numerical control (cnc) are all done to the highest standard possible. But surfboards are not guaranteed against breakage, damage, dings, creases, discolouration, or fix box damage caused, as these are not our liability when/if this does happen.
Paradise Surfboards have a 14 day return policy. The 14 days commences from the date the board was delivered to you, but the date it is returned back to us needs to be within those 14 days. Surfboards can only be returned if completely unused which includes, but is not limited to the board not taken in any water, not waxed in any way, no fins put in, and nothing stuck on the board e.g. stickers, tailpad. Cost of returning items is completely payable by the customer. Paradise Surfboards are not responsible any fees that are incurred when arranging a returns delivery. When contacting us for a return, please email us on email@example.com within that 14 day period, and someone will get back to you regarding an arrangement for delivery. In the email, please include your name, contact information, order number, and the reason for the return. Once the return has been successful, the customer will receive email confirmation of this and will be contacted for a refund. Please see Deposit Policy for information regarding any deposits paid.
All deposits paid to Paradise Surfboards are non-refundable. If a board is returned back, the only refund available is the total amount the board cost, minus the deposit amount.
Upon being notified of the completion of the board, the full and final balance needs to be paid within 30 days of notification. This includes the day of notification + 29 days. If this is not adhered to, then the board may be forfeited.
All our surfboards are carefully hand packaged to ensure maximum damage control, but sometimes, due to the fragility of boards, they may get damaged in the process of delivery. So when receiving a delivery, make sure you thoroughly inspect the box/package the board came in BEFORE you sign for the board and advise the delivery driver to take photos and mark the item as damaged, if this is the case. We will only accept damaged goods claims if you have photographic damage evidence before the board was signed for. The claim will also be looked at if it is reported within 24 hours of delivery - anything after that, you will not be eligible for a claim. Also, please note that damage caused to a board after applying a tailpad, waxing a board, adding stickers, when un-packaging, or after use etc. will not be eligible for a claim.
